That One Time I Visited A Quilt Shop Near Me

I wasn’t necessarily looking for anything specific…
I just wanted to stop in to a local quilt shop that I drive by on the regular to see what they have in stock. Nice place.
The owner helped me choose a Christmas-themed bargello table runner and matching thread. That was a couple winters ago; still haven’t stitched it up yet…will get to that in a future video.
In the back room sat a “medium” arm quilt table that I immediately asked about—turns out it belongs to a lady who will do the quilting for you. There is some kind of deal that the lady has with the owner of the quilt shop to do her medium-arm quilting there and I think she hires out. Hmm, I don’t know, sounds very underground to me.
Anyway, I didn’t do much in the store, just kind of walked around like a tourist does, checking out the fabrics. What quilter doesn’t love a good fabric? I purchased the bargello kit and away I went.
Someday maybe I’ll return with a definite project in mind.
And perhaps a better story…
Happy Quilting!
